Mike Maturo
Maintenance Supervisor
Village at Lake Mary
Flagstaff AZ

We’ve been in the position to give people a place to live when they don’t have anywhere else to go. It’s great to be in a position to change someone’s life for the better.

Mike Maturo has been with the North Coast family for 10 straight years, starting his career as a maintenance supervisor. Mike was nominated by leadership for the spotlight because he has worked hard and grown exponentially through his time with North Coast and takes a lot of pride in fixing whatever problems come his way. He also has shown a genuine care for all residents and team members and continues to show us exactly how great our team can be.

When Mike is at home, he spends time with his significant other and his 2 dogs, Juno and Charm. He says his dogs are family and he has a special spot for Charm because she’s their tripod dog.

In his free time, he is an active outdoorsman. Hes an avid hunter (Elk usually) and loves to go camping, 4-wheeling, hiking and pretty much anything outdoors. Mike also has an artistic side and loves to paint and work on refinishing hard surface items including customized rifle stocks.

When Mike isn’t traipsing through the outdoors, he enjoys watching movies and listening to music. His favorite movie is Juno (and who he named his first pup after) and his favorite band is The Defendant.

What has been your favorite resident moment?

“My best tenant story doesn’t really involve a particular tenant but, on many occasions, we’ve been in the position to give people a place to live when they don’t have anywhere else to go. It’s great to be in a position to change someone’s life for the better.”

What is your favorite part of working for North Coast?

“I feel like I’ve always been treated fairly. I was really young when I started and my manager always took care of me and helped me grow.”

Thank you, Mike, for all that you have done and continue to do for the North Coast family!
