He has always built a special relationship with the on-site staff and residents and frequently gets praise sent up the chain about his gentle demeanor and uncanny desire to help others.

Bill Caisse is as dedicated as they come, putting in long hours and running the whole property by himself during a staff shortage for over a year. He has always built a special relationship with the on-site staff and residents and frequently gets praise sent up the chain about his gentle demeanor and uncanny desire to help others.

Bill has spent the last 7 years at Broadway Place Apartments building resident relationships, maintaining the property and lending an easygoing, reliable presence to the community. He frequently attends resident events and is always going above and beyond for staff, residents and their down-town neighbors. He also has a large soft spot for animals so it’s no surprise that every pet at Broadway Place gets regular pats from their favorite maintenance guy.

In his personal life he is the proud father of three sons; Cooper (19), Alex (30) and Nick (35). He also loves his own three dogs named Ladybug, Dixie and the new rascally puppy Ace. Bill is an adventurous guy and spends a lot of his free time being active. His favorite activities include snowboarding every weekend in the winter and adventuring out in his ‘74 Jeep Wrangler in the summer. He regularly volunteers with his local church and makes time to participate in a local volleyball group for some friendly competition. Bill also recently bought a new house and has been transforming the yard, making it into his own personal paradise.

Any exciting plans for the summer?

“Yes, I’ve got a couple actually. Planning to go see my sister up in Washington and then a friend of mine wants to go panhandling for gold down in California!”

What has been your favorite resident moment?

“That’s a tough one because there are so many individual fun moments here… Probably saving Earl the cat. He climbed 20 feet into a tree so I got a ladder and climbed up there to save him. As I got up to him, he jumped right on to my back. So, I climbed down slowly with Earl on my back and when I was about 5 feet off the ground he leapt right into his owner’s arms. “Earl” wrote me a nice card.”

Letter from Earl the cat!

What is your favorite part of working for North Coast?

“Well, wherever you go, work is work. But outside of working with Peter and Gabe, it’s the residents and all the people I work around that makes it so much fun… Yeah, Its basically all the people and residents.”

At 65 years young, Bill sure knows how to live an exciting and fulfilling life! Thank you for all your years of hard work for the NorthCoast family. Your dedication has always been evident and this last year and a half you have went above and beyond every single day. Words can’t express our appreciation enough, but we know for sure the NC team wouldn’t be the same without you!
